They can monitor their success by identifying times where they have provided specific information, opportunities for exploration, and necessary support for the participant to make progress towards their goal of employment as a result of adult training.

Another part of adult day training is it gives participants the opportunity to volunteer in the community. They may volunteer in schools, churches, hospitals, or other civic organizations. This can be a very rewarding experience for the participants and they may set many goals in the support plans that deal with this aspect. The provider will need to make sure he or she has provided the individual with all necessary opportunities to pursue their goal of volunteering in the community.

The most important person in the adult training program is the recipient. If the recipient feels like his or her life is better as a result of adult day training, then the provider can be satisfied with the work done. Recipients may have an opportunity to respond to an annual satisfaction survey that will tell the provider if his or her work made the recipient happier.
