Provigil is a medication that is also available under the generic name, modafinil. It is effective in promoting wakefulness and works by changing the natural chemicals or neurotransmitters in your brain.

You should call or visit your doctor immediately if you experience sore throat, headache, fever, vomiting, red skin rash, peeling, blistering, bruising, numbness, muscle weakness, severe tingling or pain.
Even less serious side effects such as nausea, diarrhea, dizziness or headache should not be taken for granted. A visit to your doctor is advisable.
