Puggle Training - 3 Major Tips
Puggle are best known as the designers breed which is the hybrid of pug and beagle
. The mated breed has much energy level with the short coat and the behaviors that is both good and bad if you consider them from the side of ancestry. If followed with the consistency and something adventurous, it is not hard train your puggle. You need to keep the training sessions short and unique to drag the attention of your dog. Ultimately your pet will love it once they will learn the new behaviors.The puggle training procedure begins at the very first time you bring the dog home. Start the training session with the crate training. For the next few days, the crate will play an important role in puggle training.
Early training
You must be starting to train your puggle at the very first time it is home. Tie the harness to the neck of the puggle and allow them to explore the front yard for elimination. You can put the crate at the convenient place inside the house. The crate you have brought should be no larger in size of the adult dog. You can put the food and water in the crate whenever you leave the home and a potty at the side of the crate. But if you decide not to use the crate then you can make use of the litter box or the newspaper in the corner of the washroom or at the door of the kitchen. You should be giving plenty of praise if your puppy eliminate at the right place. It is essential to develop a routine for the first few days and hence it continues for rest of their life.
Leash training
While leash training, you can use the body harness. Train you puggle to accept it as the collar. Don't use a choke collar that can cause the accidents like choking and damage of throat muscle resulting in the death. Use soft tone while training and keep the leash loose, soft and adjustable. The major thing that must be undertaken action is the patience in both the owner and the dog, and the right amount of love and affection. There should be balance in the puppy's life through consistency that results in the mature, affectionate and obedient partners.
Socialization
This is very much important during puggle training. Those who can learn at the early stage can be the best companion to the human dwellers. The dogs have a different sense if ranking to the human. They think us as the master as we have a larger size but when they are with the other canines, their sense will change. Those dogs that can socialize with the atmosphere at the early age prove them as the well adjusted pet. For the socialization, you can invite other pet to your home for the play. Take your dog to the place like park or take them for the ride in the car, and introduce the harness to your puppy.
Extreme discipline also causes you the wrong results while training. You should not be bullying your puggle for their submissive acts as it can create an aggressive and meanness in the dog's nature. So the puggle should be given the right amount of care and attention and the right discipline not to let them being isolated during the puggle training.
