Punctuality is all about time management and has the control over the amount of time which has been spent on the activities. Punctuality is one of the foremost pillars of discipline. One who is punctual is often called as a disciplined person. Few people are born punctual and few are made punctual. It should not be left up to the children to make themselves punctual. Parents should always make the children understand the value of punctuality as it is an important pre-requisite that helps us throughout our lives. Like everything else, punctuality also develops with practice. The more a person tries to be punctual, the more the person understands the value of time.

The habit of not being punctual leaves a question mark on a persons character and nature. For example, if a person reaches late for an interview, there are chances that the interviewer rejects that candidate on the spot on grounds of punctuality. So, everybody should be punctual in their everyday life. Every student should make a habit of punctuality. Punctuality is the first condition for becoming great in life and therefore punctuality should be the motto in our life. We should not only be punctual ourselves but also advise others to be punctual.
