for the publication of its undergraduate and postgraduate examination results One of the exam results in India has been announced by the University of Pune for publication course for undergraduate as well as postgraduate students who wanted to be the part of the this leading University. The result has been out on 9 Jan 2010. As far as the whole Indians are concerned, University of Pune is one of the premier universities in India. It is positioned in the North-Western part of Pune city. It occupies an area of about 411 acres. It was established on 10th February, 1948 under the Poona University Act. The university houses 46 academic departments. It is popularly known as the 'Oxford of the East'. It has about 118 recognized research institutes and 269 affiliated colleges offering graduate and under-graduate courses. Mr. Siddharth Jalan, Technical Coordinator of NNE, said, "This is a one-of-its kind initiative which will help students get their results instantly through the Internet or SMS, whichever is convenient to them".
