London, 25 October 2010: QIB (UK) plc has formed a strategic partnership with Eden

Rock Capital Management LLP to address the investment opportunities in the UK created by the ongoing constraints within the banking system to fund small and medium sized UKbased companies.

In July, Eden Rock launched the Eden Rock Direct Lending Fund which provides investors with access to a broad network of privately originated transactions in the mid market sector. Whilst Eden Rock has a global mandate, the partnership with QIB (UK) is focused on coinvestment in Eden Rocks UK deals only. In selecting Eden Rock as a partner, QIB (UK) was attracted by the firms experience and network built up over the past 10 years as well as its deal selection and underwriting criteria. Eden Rock was pleased to partner with QIB (UK) as it is an established Islamic investment bank with strong connections throughout the Middle East and the UK.
