Smoking is an addiction that is hard to get out of, so try to get as much support from your friends and family as you can. You might find that you have days where you just want to light up a cigarette but if this happens remember why you are stopping. It could be because of poor health or that it's just too expensive, there are many reasons why people want to stop smoking. If you have had a few days smoke free and you feel the need for a cigarette think of how far that is going to take you back and how well you have done so far. All smokers know how hard it is to stop smoking so if you do have a day where you just have to have that cigarette, don't feel a failure and give up trying. Think of why you had it and what you could next time in that situation to stop it happening again. It will be an uphill struggle and I'm not saying it's going to be easy but believe me I can promise that it will get easier as time goes on. The most important thing to remember is that it is not impossible to stop smoking, although you will have good and bad days there are millions of people who have succeeded, so what's saying that you can't do it too. You have already taken the hardest step by making the decision in the first place.
