It is a great masterpiece of Mughal architecture with a height of 234 feet containing some floors that are adorned with beautiful carvings. The walls' structure of the tower is made such that it widens from top to bottom, in order to make it strong.

A visit to upstairs of this structure will present an exciting experience and the very top of the tower provides the bird's eye view of the city, which is simply breath taking and includes the views of walls of Tughlaqabad, Hauz Khaz, Purana Qila, Humayun's Tomb, Jama Masjid and Firoz Shah Kotla. Although the climb might be so tiresome, it is one joyful journey with one storey at a time and the magnificent view of the top makes it worth the effort.
