While there is no standardized and universally accepted testing method, testing does require sophisticated equipment that must be used by a properly trained person who can interpret the results appropriately. It is a good idea to be concerned about radioactive gases within your environment. Periodic testing is an intelligent move. However, your granite worktops should not be the source of your worry, so choosing durable, colourful, and beautiful granite materials is not worth thinking twice about. Focus your energy on choosing the right looks and patterns for your granite worktops at home or office kitchen, and do not let anyone tell you that granite is a bad choice because of serious radiation risks.
