I always enjoy raising money for charity but sometimes it can be difficult to know
how to make the most money, which still is fun for everyone involved. To make money for a charity you need to get a large group involved at to keep everyone motivated theyve got to be having fun.
I came up with an idea to do a charity football event. The local community as a whole enjoys their sports and I thought it could be great fun to do football matches in heats so that we could have a championship at the end. People would pay to enter and watch and we would provide food and drink to increase the profits for charity. Everyone I spoke to about it loved the idea so Ive decided to get the ball rolling (excuse the pun!) and get it all organised.
I thought Id invest in sporting fencing hire. Sporting fencing hire would allow me to divide the field up into pitches so we can complete different heats/finals to determine who goes into the championships. The more professional I can make it feel the more likely I am to sell as many tickets as possible at decent prices.
I also thought I could consider sorting out privacy screens for fence hire so that I can create VIP sections. It would all be a bit of fun but I think people would pay a little bit more for a VIP section if they know the money is going to charity. I dont think privacy screens for fence hire is that expensive so it might be a great way to create a bit of fun.
I think well keep the food simple with things like chips, burgers and hotdogs and coffee and tea for drinks. Although it would be nice to sell beer I dont think were allowed to without a licence but I will look into it.
I really hope its a good event and not only does everyone enjoy themselves but we also make enough money for charity to make it worth while doing it.
