Anybody uses or heard of "Read It Later" before? For those of you who have not heard of it before, it is a service that helps you to mark any articles to read later. Now, the entire service "Read It Later" has been phenomenally remade and even renamed as "Pocket". Besides the basic concept of being able to mark articles to read them later, the whole service has been entirely changed for the better.

Interface

Formerly called "Read It Later", Pocket's old interface used to be lackluster and dull. Now, it has become clean, cool, simple and extremely easy to use. With this makeover of interface, my opinion of "Pocket" has totally changed! Besides being impressed by this makeover, it had also made me realize the importance of a well designed interface. Never has an example set such a striking contrast of user opinions on an app due to the remade of the app interface. Another big plus factor of Pocket is its reading interface. In Pocket, any article or website that you saved will be transformed into a pleasant, simple and extremely readable page. For certain websites that doesn't have a pleasant reading interface, I would save them into Pocket to read.

Compatibility

One extremely important aspect of such a service would be its cross-platform compatibility. In Pocket, it has made itself compatible with many popular article reading iPhone apps like Zite and Flipboard. In addition, you can also save any articles you want by emailing the article links to @getpocket.com! Note: You need to set up your email account in your pocket account first.

User-friendly

Pocket provides an in-depth tutorial service when you first start the app. Within this tutorial service, you can learn how to maximize its service and set up your pocket account at the same time.

Website

Talking about change! Besides the iPhone app, Pocket (formerly Read It Later) has changed the whole of its service including its website. The new website is sleekly designed with a touch of liveliness. After experiencing this well designed interface, I immediately bookmarked the website on my browser. Yes, it is that GOOD! Below is a screenshot I took from the Pocket website.

Forget about the Facebook-Instagram 1 billion saga that isn't going to affect you much yet, Pocket is the hottest new thing right now that you should experience.
