Do not have to look too far online to have someone ask you how to get website traffic these days.

That said, the number of pure nonsense in terms of traffic generation is just amazing.

The big boys move in with professional sites, take your Paypal and have nothing happen...ever.

To get website traffic, you need to line up the planets and line them up perfectly. Because you are not looking for just numbers, you are looking for the right visitors...and those numbers are far lower...but will put much more money in your pocket.

Why?

Because if you want to make create action out of these new web visitors as you start to get website traffic, then you have to know that it starts with traffic and then moves on down the line.

Where are you sending that targeted traffic?

Your home page is NOT a lead generation machine unless you have dramatic opt in features on it.

It's wildly sad to me how many people finally figure out how to get web traffic then blow it by send those new visitors to pages that do not make sense.

Sounds crazy, I know, but the guys and women who are able to get website traffic in mass numbers know that they must send that traffic to simple lead gen pages and then to their home pages.

Here's a word of warning...if you see a traffic generation idea out there that looks too good for too little, it is.

It really is as simple as that. To get website traffic that will convert, that traffic has to be top quality. These new visitors must want to know more about you. They must crave what is behind the curtain...otherwise they sense that you are selling to them.

And if anyone knows that you are selling, they are leaving.
