However, with advancements in electricity, and in plastic and PVC development, it is now possible to find a plastic Christmas tree in most homes on Earth; especially those within the United Kingdom. Popularity for a faux Christmas tree is growing, with many people appreciating its ease of use, and its recyclability with it being a product which can be used year after year, provided its electricity and wiring still works.

Whilst real Christmas trees are still favoured in some places, there are drawbacks to having one of them within a home. these wild trees shed their needles, for one thing.
