Real Time MLM Leads - Things You MUST Know

Many network marketers fall into the trap and believe that because they are buying a real time MLM lead, that it is going to be substantially superior to an opportunity lead that's three or four days old. The reality is that while there is a difference in the quality of a real time MLM lead that is 'hot off the press' and a lead that is a few days old, there are other very important considerations you should you need to think about before you decide to buy any of these leads.
The downside -- and what you need to understand -- about real time MLM leads is that their value is in large part dependent upon your profit margin for each distributor you sign up into your business. In other words, the quality of a real time MLM lead should not be the only thing you consider when you decide whether to spend the money to purchase them.
Diving deeper, there are two important and very simple mathematical calculations you need to do to see if buying real time MLM leads would even make sense for your business:
One, calculate the lifetime value of a new distributor who signs up into your business. Meaning, for example, if a new distributor joins your business and is on autoship for eight months, what does that put into your pocket?
Two, and based upon the first calculation of the lifetime value, figure out how much your business can afford to reasonably spend to acquire a new associate (distributor). For example, if you calculate that the lifetime value of a new associate is $120.00, that means that you can spend $120.00 to acquire a new distributor and that $120.00 is the maximum amount you can spend before you actually lose money.
Now one might say that some of these distributors are going to recruit distributors so that will increase their lifetime value. That is correct, however, you need to assess the lifetime value on a "worst case scenario" basis so that you get real numbers to work with when you make your assessments. You need to pretend that distributors will do absolutely nothing productive when you calculate their lifetime value in order to accurately determine if buying real time MLM leads makes financial sense.
Instead of buying real time MLM leads, a far superior way of building your business is to focus on learning the skill set needed to generate your own leads. There is a big difference in both the number of leads you convert and the retention rate of leads when you have prospects chasing you, as opposed to purchasing leads from a generic system in which your name is never discussed.
