Second, realize that your MLM downline is essential to your success. This means that you don't want to take on just anyone that shows interest in your business. Too often MLM recruiters make the mistake in thinking that building their downline with able bodies is good enough. You want people that are going to take action, that are going to work the business. You aren't going to make money with a MLM downline that is not action orientated. Don't beg someone to join... and don't take on someone that seems wishy-washy about the business. You want people with desire, ambition and drive. Only take those people that meet those criteria.


Next, smile while you are on the phone. Believe it or not that smile carries through in your conversation. If you need to get a mirror and place it in front of the phone during your call, it can make all the difference in the world.

Have energy in your voice; be excited about what you are talking about. No not overzealous, but excited. If you don't have passion about what you are doing, how can you expect the person you are talking with to be excited about the business and want to join.
