If you are not sure if a food contains yeast or not, you must get get into the habits of reading labels on packages and learn the different terminology to sugars and other yeast products. Foods that contain yeast include: mostly all cheese (except feta cheese, so you can go to town on feta cheese), sugars, fermented foods and drinks like wine and beer, breads (pretzels, rolls, bagels, pastries, cookies), foods that contain vinegar (mayonnaise, salad dressing, barbecue sauce, mustard, or pickles).

The recipes for a candida diet will contain three basic and simple items such as meat, vegetables, and a small amount of complex carbohydrates. Be sure that if you are going to choose to consume meat, make sure it is organic to ensure that no antibiotics were added to the meat to "beef it up".


Spreading out your meals throughout the day will help keep your blood sugar up as well as your energy and your hunger under control. Eating these whole foods will also give you more energy and that coupled with eating more often will keep you full for hours. You should be eating 4-6 times per day.
