One of the best ways for you to enjoy the good life is to lead a stress free life. There is a lot that you can do to relieve stress in your life but sometimes life just throws things at you that you cant control. One way to reduce stress is to reduce daily clutter. The person who lives a cluttered life is not organized in his or her thoughts. Some of you may get angry with me because of this statement but I believe it to be true. Have you ever noticed how a cluttered person never seems to be able to find anything? The person who is organized has a place for all things so when he or she needs something in a hurry it is never a problem. There is no last minute mad rush to get something done. When situations change as they often will the person who has things well planned out only has to adapt and keep moving. Organization is equal to success.
Colors, seasons, and fragrances have an effect on mood. Diet is also critical. Light colors, bright lights and seasons, and light nutritious foods all have a positive effect on our moods. Apply these factors to your daily life as much as possible. Eat right with good foods. Dont eat meals which make you sluggish. Dont overeat at meals. Eat several small nutritious meals each day to keep your blood sugar levels stable so that you can avoid the mood swings that accompany fluctuating blood sugar levels.
Interacting with loved ones such as children helps to give a sense of being. Time spent with loved ones is time well spent. Learn to enjoy the special times that you spend with loved ones. Remember that life is not promised and we dont know how long that we have left to enjoy our lives. I try to enjoy every minute of my life for this particular reason. You also need to avoid being in the company of negative people. Have you ever noticed that some people seem to never have anything good to say? Avoid them like the plague. There is nothing that you can really do for them and hanging out for them will only bring you down. Dont let them spoil the good time that you could be having.
Music and exercise are two excellent stress reducers. Upbeat music and regular exercise will definitely relieve stress. Exercise has been proven to release chemicals called endomorphins. These chemicals cause feelings of well being. So exercise to stay on a natural high. Music also has an effect on mood. Learn how to enjoy joyful, cheerful music. I used to sleep with good music on the radio and it definitely has a upbeat effect on mood.
Learn how to politely say no sometimes. A gentle no can save you a world of grief from time to time. You dont have to try to do everything that others want you to. If you politely turn them down they will find another way to get what they want. Its OK to say no.
