You designate a target computer or external hard drive, and your entire back up copy of data at Disk Hero is sent over to your target machine. Carbon Copy only copies to the receiving system the most current files, it does not keep file versions, your Disk Hero backup does keep versions.

With "sync software", if you accidentally deleted a file from your U3 or USB drive before you have time to use the "sync software", your file is lost forever rendering the "sync software" ineffective.

You have piece-of-mind knowing that you have an on-line back up copy you can access from ANY PC 24/7 and a full copy of the U3 or USB files on your office/home PC in case you lose your U3 or USB drive.

Install Disk Hero PC version on your main computer within the first 90 days of this U3 or USB install and your Disk Hero Carbon Copy for U3/USB is FREE for as long as you have an active paid PC account. You must have Disk Hero running on both your U3 or USB and your PC to make Carbon Copy work, because your PC will be the "Carbon Copy Target" for your U3 or USB drive.

Version Control: Disk Hero PC can keep Infinite versions of files for as long as you want. The application comes preloaded with 5 versions by default. Every time you make an update (addition or deletion) to an existing file, the new version of this file will be backed up routinely. Disk Hero will keep versions of each file, and provide you with an option to set a maximum number of versions that you want to have retained (see advanced options under FILE within your main Disk Hero application running on your drive). You can recover and download any of the versions that have been saved 24/7.

Backup ANY storage media: When you plug in a memory card from your camera or cell phone into your PC you will see these devices show up as separate drives on your computer. Disk Hero backup can see these storage cards as well and automatically back them up.
