Life is always changing

Life is always changing. That is one thing that I am sure is a constant. Just when you think you have things figured out, a hair pin curve comes that you didnt see coming. Are you good with change or do you get completely flustered and out of sorts? Todays Daily Quote speaks directly about how life is always changing. Its John Cleeses birthday today, on October 27th. There are a some people that I can count on who will always make me laugh and he is one of them. I know if John Cleese is in a movie or on a television show, I must watch it. He said:

You dont have to be the Dalai Lama to tell people that lifes about change.

John Cleese delivers such a timely message with his great sense of humor. Change is going to happen. Nothing is going to stay the same. That is one reason why being grateful for everything, all the time is so important. If you are in a room with a group of friends enjoying a social occasion, stop and look around and enjoy it. Odds are, that exact group of people wont be back together for a while again. You also never know when death is going to come get one of the group. Stuff happens. Life is always changing.

For today, lets focus on every thing, person and moment in this day. Lets be grateful for the people we have around us. Lets be grateful for the laughs and smiles we get to share with someone today. Lets look at the things we take for granted in our lives. Lets remember to say please and thank you to those around us. Life is always changing and we cant stop that from happening. We can take advantage of the moments that life gives us. We can also remember that change is not always bad. It often feels bad as things are shifting. If we are losing a relationship, a home, a friendship, a job, or whatever we REALLY want to hang on to, we have to remember that when one door closes, another opens. This change could be happening because youve been wishing for something better to come. Better cant come until the old, worn out, and out dated stuff is gone from our lives. As tough as it sometimes is, embrace change. I know we all can look back on our pasts and see where we are thankful that something didnt work out. We didnt see it when we were losing that thing, but we sure can see it now. Life is always changing and our task for today is to embrace that and welcome the changes we have been choosing to create.
