I'm a fan of a roller skate that has more of an ankle support, like this Riedell 120 Celebrity skate, more so than a lower cut roller skate such as one with the Riedell Classic boot. I just like the way a taller boot feels. I found that the padding in this 120 boot is simply phenomenal, too. This is just one of many reasons why I would give the Riedell 120 Celebrity Womens skate two very enthusiastic thumbs up.

The 120 Celebrity has a very nice fit, even though like many roller skates, they are sized in Mens. The bonus to the 120 Celebrity skate is that this roller skate is available in half sizes. For me, I wear a size 7.5 in this skate (8.5 in Womens) and my foot is as snug as a bug in a rug. The wheels...perfect. Sometimes I find that I need to replace the wheels/bearings that come on my skates I buy because they're such a generic fit made to accommodate a large spectrum of users. I typically either tear them up or wear them down too fast. An added bonus are the Radar Pure wheels with 9 rated bearings, as they make this an incredibly smooth ride.
