The Roland Micro Cube Guitar Amplifier- Black, provides guitarists with a genuine Roland Cube amp, but in a compact package that is even capable of running on batteries. It's a great little amp that performs like a much larger amplifier, and it sounds huge.
It comes with an AC adapter that supports 110V or 240V, making it great for travel between the USA and Europe. It is the perfect amp for beginners or those who wish to practice while still remaining quiet for those around them.

Roland Micro Cube Guitar Amplifier Reviews:
An interesting idea from someone that has purchased this amp, is that they used it to great effect with an iPod for portable music. Although it won't shake the room, it is great for reasonable background music. As long as you have an 1/8" stereo to 1/4" mono cable to plug into it, you will be good to go with your music player.
With that being said, for its size it isn't too shabby at all. This is a small amp, great for traveling especially due to its light weight, and the fact that you can adjust the settings depending if you are plugging into 110V or 240V, but it can be powered by batteries as well.
One reviewer stated that for the hundred bucks, it is great. It has 3 distortion channels and 3 clean channels as well as a mic channel, plus 6 effects. They did say that they use it mostly for clean because the distortions are kind of harsh on the ears. The reviewer stated that the effects are decent, but aren't the best. Still the overall score was very high due to the fact that you will be hard pressed to find an amp that delivers as many effects for the price like the Roland Micro Cube does.
The selections for "amp modeling" are outstanding, and the overall sound is superb. Even though it is only a 2-watt amp, it still has the potential to get very loud. It shouldn't be considered a gig amp, but will do great for recording or even practicing with a drummer. Before you decide to purchase this amp, it might be a good idea to YouTube to get a better idea if it will be right for you.
The only few things that we could find bad about this amp are possibly a short battery life (although it was mentioned elsewhere that the batteries seem to last forever), and a few of the effects not sounding all that good. The digital tuning fork isn't that special either. It is basically a button that generates a tone that you can tune to. If you have any other kind of external tuner, it will probably be much better.
Very well received and nice high marks have been given to this amp. It can crank out some descent volume, has good sound through the headphones, and provides nice effects for the price as well. Plus, it is lightweight and great for traveling with. Anyone that wants a low priced amp that works great for a practice amp will probably really like this amplifier.
