Mantra music is a form of sacred music that consists of sounds

, words or groups of words, and certain syllables. The combination of words is supposed to create a form of spiritual transformation. Mantra music originally came from India and was a Vedic tradition. It has become a part of Hindu tradition and is regularly practiced with Sikhism, Jainism and Buddhism.
