There are many inventions made everyday for us to use in our daily lives. All these inventions are based on different thoughts. Most of the inventions are based on human comfort and coziness. There are some experts that say that many of the inventions were made to distract people, but we cannot deny the importance of the progression specifically made for human ease. It is always the top priority for the technology developers to consider the human security and luxury.This could be the reason our homes are well equipped with different machines. We are surrounded by them from an electric toothbrush to a dishwasher. These machines are bringing more comfort to our life and they also save our time.We like to be surrounded by the different appliances that help us with the daily routine. We may say that somehow we have made ourselves capable of maintaining the temperature of our premises. The air conditioning units are the machines that help us to maintain the room temperature according to our requirements. These machines are available in different types and categories; air conditioning installation is not very complicated now days, however we need some technicians to do it for us. Normally two people can install the air conditioning units according to residential requirements. The installations for the huge buildings and industries may require the whole team. The units installed in hospitals, schools, and in multi story buildings are differently designed and manufactured. There are also some portable air conditioning units available in the market, this type of air conditioners requires no air conditioning installation, and you can drag them from one room to another room. They help cooling the small area and they are mostly ideal for single bedrooms. The history of the air conditioners is very long, it has started from the second century when human start thinking about maintaining a temperature. There were different types and models they have developed during these years. In 1902 a man called Willis Haviland Carrier invented a machine in New York, similar to the air conditioners that we usually use now days. This machine became very famous and was installed in many pharmaceutical companies and hospital initially and then later into some textile industries as well.The machine was very large in size and also was very expensive. Willis Haviland Carrier used the ammonia as coolant in this machine that makes it dangerous. After few years Willis Haviland Carrier made some changes and he replaced the ammonia with benign and add the central compressor in the machine, these changes not only reduced the size of the machine but also made these air conditioners more popular, and by the end of 1930, there were installed in many government buildings. Window unit air conditioners were launched after the Second World War, they were highly demanded as in 1953 about 1,045,000 window units were sold. The air conditioning installation is less time consuming now days, as we have the supportive tools in these days unlike in 1953. The air conditioners are installed almost everywhere now days.
