Samsung E350 Review by:Jerry Smith

The Samsung E350 is a phone that works on the 2G Network on a Tri-Band frequency of GSM 900/1800/1900

. The E350 is one of Samsung's basic model that comes with a camera, Internet enabled and can help you to stay in contact with your family, friends and colleagues through a wide range of simple and practical options.

Samsung E350 uses the current audio & video applications as other modern models do. The bulit in AAC/MP3 player for audio recording and playback is what is being used in many other mobile phones of this type because of the excellent audio quality that they provide. Recording and playing back videos is taken care of pretty well by the MPEG4 application in the phone. The WAP 2.0/xHTML web browser is what all of the web-enabled mobile phones are equipped with so that you can get around the Internet with relative ease. The one application that the Samsung E350v does not have is the GPS technology. This is bad news for those that are always getting lost and who rely on GPS to get from place to place.

Sending and Receiving e-mail and Text messages has become the most popular method of communication these days because you can get your message across very quickly and efficiently. When it comes to being able to send and receive those important e-mails, Text Messages (SMS) and Picture Messages (MMS) you are not going to have that much trouble with this. This is important when you are dealing with time-sensitive matters that need to be dealt with as quickly as you possibly can.

The Samsung E350 is not one of the mobile phone models that are Bluetooth-enabled. It also does not have a WLAN, nor is it capable of dealing with the current 3G Network for wireless services. This might not make that much difference to those that really do not need all the speed and connectedness of the 3G Network (or even the 4G Network that is coming). Another thing that the Samsung E350 does not comes with support for is a radio. To some people this also does not make that much difference because they have very specific needs and requirements.

Samsung E350 is powered by a standard Li-lon 800 mAh battery which is pretty much the same as is used in other current mobile phone modesl. This small battery will hold a charge and power your phone for nearly 220 hours when it is not in constant use and close to 3 hours when you are on the phone. These batteries are available all over the place because they are the main type that is used by just about every mobile phone maker.

Those of you who need to be able to keep all of your appointments filed in the Samsung E350's memory /organizer are not going to be disappointed or be late for an appointment when they forget to check their calendar to see which appointment, meeting, engagement or function is coming up next for them. There is an LED Flash for your digital camera that will allow you to take the best pictures that you can. The camera itself is VGA resolution and has a pixel resolution of 640 x 480. All in all, Samsung U800 is a mobile phone that is useful to those that really do not need anything that is as fancy as the iPhone or the Smart Phone.
