Is money all for satellite TV providers? Are they not concerned about their customers? Rightly, this may be questions of many consumers who have subscribed to varied satellite TV providers in America. Once a consumer signs up with a provider, he completely trusts it. He believes that the company will definitely provide him with the best of satellite TV offers and will not deceive him. Therefore, the same applies to the company as well. It should also have faith in its subscribers. In fact, mutual trust is very necessary for both the parties to have a satisfactory association.

However, with recent buzz regarding all the malpractices and business scams followed by DirecTV, slowly people are losing confidence. But this is true, for the satellite TV giant DirecTV has certainly misled people, which all of us has come to know about through different complaints by subscribers. Thereby, this is quite obvious on the part of subscribers to doubt the integrity of the company; however, it is highly shocking that the company is doubting truthfulness of a subscriber! Well, this would be too much of an expectation from any company!! Honestly, any company keeps a track of its consumers and their bills, so that it never runs into losses. In fact, any company wouldn't want that the bills are not paid on time.

DirecTV will also not suffer monetary loss and the problem is with bills again, but with an entirely different issue, though. The company itself asked his subscriber to pay the bill once he receives it through mail. But it could not wait for him to clear the final settlement and deducted the amount from his credit card, and even without informing him. The complete incidence goes like this. One of the subscribers of DirecTV cancelled its services and wanted to switch to another provider that offered him pretty hefty savings each month. Unable to hold on to the subscriber with its retention offers, DirecTV finally gave in and sent him the boxes to return equipment, asked him to clear the dues within 30 days, and clarified that he would receive his bill on mail. Unfortunately, to the subscriber's surprise, one fine day, DirecTV used his stored card to settle the final invoice, disappointingly without subscriber's authorization.

Although the subscriber was happy with the services of DirecTV, which is evident from the fact that he was associated with the company for over 4 years, he at present vows to never return back to the satellite TV giant, for its terrible act. He complains that for a trivial amount, how the company can just use the credit card, which he had stored with their website to avoid any inconveniences. This is unethical for any business to perform. He feels that the company does not believes its customers at all, more so, when it offered a 30 days' time period to clear the bills! DirecTV should have waited until the expiry of the date. The offended subscriber also gives a piece of advice to all other DirecTV subscribers to first remove their cards from their structure and then cancel the services to avoid any such insults.
