Sculpture is a complex process of adding, subtracting

, molding, or devising something that will depict the character that the artist would want to portray. It is somewhat similar to forming shapes, emotions, and characters on it. However, if you are an artist, but you are not putting you sculptures in a commercial use, you do not have any specifications on what you are doing.

You work in a freestyle way since you do not have to satisfy the eye of the human public. However if you are into the business world, and you are selling your sculptures, it is very important to have a more dedicated and standard sculpture to attract more possible clients. On the other hand, to be an artist is not that easy. You should possess certain qualities that not all people have. You should make some sense out of nothing. That is I think one of the distinct characteristics of an artist.

The first characteristic that the sculpture artist has is being extra creative. The process of creating a work of art is crucial. We know that the creation process is not easy and anyone can create, buy not all people can create a substantial and meaningful piece of art like sculpture artist do. Sculpture artist should form a piece from scratch, unless otherwise they will be asked to develop an exact replica or someone or something by their clients. They put art in everything they do, and they form shapes and objects from nowhere with their imagination and creativeness.

Another thing that is distinct for sculpture artists is that they are not afraid to try and try. If you think that making a Sculpture Garden is easy although it is their passion, you are wrong. Well, they are sometimes in the situation wherein, they want to do something that they did not decide upon doing it. Instead of planning for what should be done, they end up surprising themselves since they will end up with something unplanned and the art piece is worth their time. They are not even aware that they have done something worthwhile until the piece is finish. They are not afraid to try and explore all possibilities. This trait makes them an artist.

Another trait that distinguished artist is their state of reason and goal-oriented. They always see to it that they could reflect what they are doing to something or someone. There is a reason for everything in the art piece. It is not done for nothing. There should be a reason behind it, may it be an in-depth or superficial reason. They are also goal-oriented since they always work with purpose. It may be for own self satisfaction, or to satisfy the public. They do not stick to something without knowing what should be expected from it.

Sculpture artist have a lot of distinct traits that is not common to all man. These are just some of the characteristics that identify the Sculpture artist from all others. Well, at some point, these are all positive traits that most artist possess and these are the common traits that make them artists in the real sense of the word.
