Seattle Techies Have Switched To 4g Phones
Seattle is a city that is known for its tech-savvy population
. As the home of Microsoft corporation, not to mention countless other computer science, coding, design, and engineering companies, the city has long attracted professionals and geeks of every stripe who live for the newest innovation. When a new product debuts on the market, you better believe that Seattle residents will adopt it first. They always have the newest MP3 players, the newest plasma televisions, the newest personal digital assistants (PDAs)/palm pilots, and of course the newest cell phones. And so when the most recent generation of Internet phones with mobile broadband debuted recently known as 4G phones, or fourth generation you better believe that Seattle residents had them first. So if you are a bit behind the curve, lets take a look at all of the reasons that savvy Seattlites have so openly embraced this most recent technological innovation, and why you should too.
1. 4G has faster service
It seems like generations ago that people used to access the Internet by logging onto a clunky desktop computer and signing in through a phone line. If you had a fast connection, pages without graphics might have taken a couple of seconds to load, and no one could make or receive phone calls the entire time that someone was online because the Internet was routed through the phone line! But believe it or not, that was only a decade or so ago that that was true. But still, Americans have gotten used to their incredibly fast wireless Internet, and now when anything takes more than a tenth of a second to load, it seems like an injustice. 4G phones will make it so that you are never frustrated in this manner again.
2. You will have service in more places.
Nothing is worse than needing (or hey, simply just wanting) to check your email or a work project or access some information online, and see that you only have one bar of service. It would be one thing if you had no service at all then you might just put away your phone and accept your wireless Internet-less fate. But when you have just a little bit when you can see that that network is in range you will continue to refresh your page over and over again, hoping upon hope that eventually your email (or whatever web page you were looking at) will load. What a waste of time and energy. With 4G, this will not happen. You will be able to go to anywhere you desire in Seattle and just about any spot in Washington state, for that matter and get service without fail.
3. Your service will be more reliable.
This goes hand in hand with having service in more places. You will not be cut out in the middle of an interaction left hanging in Internet limbo as your Internet service grinds to a halt. With this new generation of Internet phones, when you get access to go online, you will keep it.
