Secrets to Make Your Pitbull Happy and Obedient

Owning a pitbull I have learned all the secrets of making my dog happy. Now I'm going to share my secrets with you. Are you ready?

Pitbulls are among some of the most wonderful dogs on the planet. Although many people would disagree, I am speaking primarily from my own experience with my dog Slick. Slick is 7 years old, 3 years older than my youngest dog. I have 4 dogs in total, but there are many distinctions between Slick and my other dogs.

One of the things I noticed about Slick is his quick ability to learn and mimic. Being just a small puppy I remember he got around the house quite mischievously and was able to open drawers, cabinets, and even some doors. Of course his ability to learn was no threat to me as I turned that learning ability for the better. In just a few months me and Slick accomplished so much. He mastered about a dozen commands that most dogs take years to learn.

You might be wondering what my secret is. Now, I'm going to tell you my secret on one condition. Are you ready for it? If you're going to use my secrets to train your pitbull don't stop using it.

The secret I like to call positive reinforcement and leadership. It consists of two main parts. The first part is the training method, which is the positive reinforcement. The second part is the relationship between you and your pitbull, which is leadership. You are going to use the positive reinforcement method to establish leadership between you and your pitbull. This way your dog will see you as the alpha dog and respect you like he or she should.

But how do we establish this "leadership"? Well, there is really no "secret" to that. All you have to do is spend time with your dog, train new tricks, and reinforce your position as the alpha dog. Here are some of the things you need to do to ensure your pitbull will look at you as the alpha dog:

1. Don't let your pitbull lead. Whenever he's pulling on the leash just stop.

2. Eat before you let your dog eat

3. Walk out of the house before your dog

4. Don't let your dog sleep on your bed

5. Don't step over your dog

6. Don't let your dog jump up on you
