See Clearly By Reducing Stress
Are you fed up with wearing eyeglasses? Wiping fingerprints from them
? Continuously pushing them back up onto your nose whenever you perspire? The truth is, you can actually improve your eyesight using natural methods and see without wearing eyeglasses and without risky surgery.
Your eyes work hard and they require time to recuperate from the incessant strain you put on them. The muscles that control your eye are just like any other muscles and need to rest sometimes. They have to have rest and it is up to you to make sure they get it.
Do you know that you can cure poor vision entirely by changing poor habits? It's true. In this age of computer monitors, texting and ebooks, we are very hard on our eyes. Should you take the time to practice certain relaxation exercises, you'll be able to strengthen your eyesight to the point of not needing eyeglasses. You'll be able to strengthen your vision naturally even if you have worn eyeglasses for years or are prone to eye problems and eye disease.
Strain and stress are the primary causes of weak visual acuity. Do you know you were born with remarkably good eyesight? All during your school years you were forced into poor habits that caused your eyes to strain too much. You sat in a school room throughout the day, continuously staring at a chalk board, books, or paper and that left your eyes exhausted and stressed. There just wasn't sufficient time between classes or subjects to let your eyes take it easy and give them a few moments of rest. These routines carried over for your adult life and now you do the exact same thing at your job everyday.
Your body gives out signals whenever you require rest. Any time you spend too much time performing chores around the home, your back begins to hurt and your arms become worn out. You just want to take a moment and take a rest, put your feet up. In the same manner, your eyes tell you when they need to have a rest, as well. You may possibly experience a headache, your eyes begin to burn or water, or you could possibly feel a twitch in one or both eyes. This is your eyes telling you it is time to rest.
There are a variety of exercises you can do that specifically rest the eyes and strengthen eyesight. An example of these is called "sunning." Face the sun, eyes closed. Very important: Eyes CLOSED. Let the warmth of the sun to penetrate deeply into your eyes and forehead. Slowly move your head from side to side. Keep inhaling and exhaling. Feel the position of the sun. The warmth from the sun will help to relax the muscles attached to the eye balls and let them to operate naturally.
Yet another way to unwind the eyes while working on a computer or reading would be to regularly look at something some distance away. Just take a couple of minutes to look out the window and across the street. If there is no window, look across the room as far as you can. Even closing your eyes and imagining distant objects can help to rest the eyes. The essential thought to remember is that bad eyesight doesn't occur all by itself.
