, the SEM Model ME-P3M is the ideal choice. The unit is desgined to degauss 5000 Oe Standard ( LMR ) and Perpendicular Magnetic Recorded ( PMR ) Hard Drives and/or Magnetic tapes quickly and easily. The unit is operated by a MANUAL HAND CRANK METHOD with a cycle time of just 10 seconds requiring no electricity or power to operate the unit. The actual degaus cycle time is one second as the drive passes through the magnetic field. An optional height adjustable mobile lift table ( Model 250MOBLIFT ) is also available. For field deployment, an optional Deployment Hard Case is also available (Model P3M DEP). More reliable than software based solutions. Works with most types of magnetic media. NSA Approved for Perpendicular Magnetic Recorded (PMR) Media. Compatible HDD Type: 3.5"/2.5"/1.8", DAT, 8mm, Half Inch(type 3480), QIC, DLT, LTO, Travan, AIT, VHS, S-VHS, Floppy Disks and Removable Magnetic Tapes. Following Options are Available: Mobile Variable Height Table, Field Deployment Kit, Rack-Mount System. Duty Cycle: Continuous, Temp Range: 14 to 104 degrees F, Humidity Range: 5 to 95%.
