span>Share:It looks like the new Natal Xbox Camera will be available around Nov 2010. It seems that Microsoft is delaying the launch so that the game developers can create some games. The rumor is that there will be around 14 games for the new Natal sensor device. One site has Microsoft having 5 million of the Natal sensorsready for shipping on day one of launch. If that is the case then they better keep it around $80 bucks. I don't see them selling that many if it is going to cost $150 or more.
The natal Xbox motion sensing device for the 360 is definately a game changer. If they can pull this off then they are going to crush the Wii platform. I have 3 kids and they currently like their Wii system but when I showed them the video of Natal Sensor Camera device that they could hook up to their Xbox 360 and how they could then interact with the game themselves they went nuts. They really got sad when I told them that it was probably a year away. I sure hope this thing works like the demo videos that are floating around.
The device, which connects to the Xbox 360 game system, tracks players' voices and body movements and recognizes their faces. It includes a camera, a multi-array microphone and software. A video demonstration of the natal Xbox 360 sensor shows the potential in martial arts, racing, skateboarding and trivia games.
