Public speaking is something that is quite difficult to do for people who are not familiar

. But, how minimum you experience in public speaking, there are several tips and basic rules that are easy to do without having a high-level public speaking skill.

When you prepare for your preparation (including making a slide, arranging for conversation, and many more), emphasize in your mind that the main purpose of the presentation is delivering an idea. This is the most basic rule of presentation. If the audience can not grasp the main ideas you wish to deliver, then the presentation can be virtually fail.

The presentation is delivering your ideas and the slides are the main tool to help the audience understand your presentation easily. So, remember that the slide is just a tool, you are the main cast. If you only read the slides, then you do not do your role well.

In delivering presentation, you should make it entertaining and interesting. Everyone loves to laugh, so make a joke. A fresh joke is very helpful to make your presentation interesting. Unfortunately, not all people have talent to make a joke.

If you cannot make a joke, you should not afford yourself to make a joke. A joke that is not funny can decrease your confidence and spirit. It is suggested for you to insert the fresh and informative stories at the time of presentation, and then focus on the presentation material that is easily absorbed.

Another thing you should do is having eye contact with the audiences. Just see the audience when you speak and everything is going to be all right. Move the eye, body and head position from left to right, front to back, alternately but regularly. Unfortunately, having eye contact can be difficult to do when you do not understand the presentation materials. It is known that lack of mastery of the material makes you see the slides frequently, so you forget to see the audience.
