Delhi's gold and silver smiths are the most famous in the country and in fact, an entire street in old Delhi is still called the 'silver street'. Besides gold and silver, it offers a variety of precious gems - rubies, emeralds, sapphires and a number of semi-precious stones like cornelian, lapis lazuli, and garnets.
