One problem that immediately happens however is lead lists are generally being worked by numerous MLM distributors. As a matter of fact many of the lists are outdated and that most of the people may not even be legitimate prospects anymore.

For this reason you have to be cautious about how old the leads are if you are going to purchase them. You may have to contact 100 people just to enroll 1 to your business on an old lead list.

Today do not call lists can present a problem as well? Therefore you want to make sure that any leads that you're purchasing have been scrubbed against this list and you are not going to be getting in trouble if you're contacting these prospects.

Of course one other alternative is to generate your own leads. This way you can follow up directly with them in your autoresponder immediately when they want more information.

There certainly is a skill to this and one that you may or may not want to learn how to do. That becomes a personal choice.

As you can see there are some real benefits to purchasing and MLM lead list. And there are also some disadvantages to think about before you spend money on leads.
