The best relationships not only have plenty of love and sharing but also the all important trust
. It's hard to love someone or even consider sharing some intimate details with them if you can't trust them.
A cheating spouse is exploiting the trust their significant other has in them to the nth degree. You believe they are at work when they say they are. You have faith that when they tell you they are going out to take care of business that they are doing exactly that. When you overhear them at a party or some other social gathering talk about how much they love you and have committed themselves to make this marriage work naturally you want to believe it.
All the while the opposite is true but because they have played the trust game like a pro there is no doubt in your mind that things are as they should be.
That part maybe taken care of but for the cheating spouse occasionally they need some assurance. Simply put when they are in the midst of planning their liaison it becomes crucial that they keep tabs on you.
It can be something as basic as asking a couple of meaningless questions during the normal course of the conversation. Where are you going, how long will you be gone is there a number they can reach you if something comes up. In many instances none of these questions will be necessary since more than likely you have already volunteered the information.
If by some chance you want to know why they are asking they already have some ready made excuses waiting in the wings.
But what they are gambling on is that you will not ask because you won't think anything about it. Your significant other has always done this so there are no red flags being raised as far as you are concerned. Besides that you trust them which they know that all too well.
