However, if she is already committed to that new guy, then you may just have to admit that your luck has run out and it is time to move on and find the next girlfriend.

2) You find out that during your relationship, your ex girlfriend was unfaithful.

There are plenty of instances where a guy will find out after the break up that his ex girlfriend was actually running around on him behind his back and he will still feel like he wants to get back together. If you are in this kind of a situation, you may want to distance yourself from the idea of reconciling, because there is a good chance that she is just going to do it again if you do win her back.

3) You are starting to feel like you are more attracted to other women and not your ex girlfriend anymore.

Sometimes the idea of getting back together is really what you are in love with and even though you are finding that you are more attracted to women who are not your ex girlfriend, you still want to get her back just because the idea of it sounds good. Don't do that because all that means is that you are going to end up getting disappointed if you do get her back and the feelings for her are not there anymore.
