The two types of Simple Invoices are total invoices that does not provide list of actions on the invoice but gives total price and associated tax and itemized invoices shows all the items listed on the invoice and then provides the total price. Either type can be chosen according to the business purpose.

Invoice form can be divided into three basic parts: header, body and footer. The header contains the contact details of business unit along with the business number and date of invoice. The body of the invoice covers the total description of items as well as quantity, unit price. The footer consists of total price of the goods, tax amount and all the instructions pertaining to payment terms, and any other details that are necessary to be conveyed to the buyer.

Simple invoices are for the accounting in small businesses such as trades-person, consulting service providers, and any kind of service providers like plumbers, web designers etc.
