Simple Things To do in Cleaning Granite Sink

Nowadays granite sink is quite popular since it makes your kitchen more elegant and beautiful. Besides, sink made from this certain material is also durable and stain-resistant enough. However, it does not mean that you do not need to clean your sink. You still have to clean it regularly in order to keep it healthy and beautiful. You can try to apply these tips to clean your sink in some simple and easy tips.

The first thing to do is preparing non-abrasive cloth or sponge. Take a basin or a bowl of water and soak the sponge or the cloth into the water. Take the cloth and squeeze it out to remove extra water. Too much water will make your sink messy instead of clean and beautiful.

Second, take your mild liquid soap. Add some drops of it directly on to your wet sponge or sloth. Create some foam by squeezing it gently.

Third, you can use the sponge or cloth to wipe the sink thoroughly. Pay more attention to some potentially-dirty areas such as around the drain and around the faucet. In those places, dirt could easily accumulate and the minerals from the water could crystallize. Make sure that the entire surface of the sink is wiped properly so the dirt could be totally removed.

Fourth, rinse the soapy sponge or cloth in running water and squeeze it out. Make sure that it is clean enough by taking a look at the squeezed water. When the water is clear enough, it means that the cloth or the sponge is quite clean. Use it to wipe away any soapy residue from the surface of your sink. You can repeat this step several times in order to totally remove the residue.

Fifth, take another soft and dry cloth. Use it to wipe the sink and let it dry. If your sink looks dull after the cleaning process, it means that there is still some soap residue left on it. You can repeat the previous step and wipe it again with dry cloth until the residue is completely removed.

It is easy, right? With those simple steps, your granite sink will remain beautiful time after time.
