There are 3 basic steps in your journey to fight acne. Here are the most important steps of skin care routine that you need to know:
1. Washing your face with a facial wash or foam. - This step is really important in helping you fight acne. When you wash your face with a good facial wash or foam, you can get rid of all the dirt, dust, grime and sea bum that accumulate on your face all though out the day. There are other facial wash and foams that have beads in them. Those kinds of facial cleansers that have beads are not advisable to use every day. The beads in those facial cleansers serve as scrub that exfoliates your skin. Exfoliating makes your skin is similar to buffing your skin to get rid of dead skin cells. So if you exfoliate everyday by using facial cleansers with beads, you can hurt your hurt you skin. It is best to wash your face twice a day. Once when you wake up in the morning and wash your face again before you go to bed at night.

2. Use a gentle toner. Get a toner that doesn't have too much alcohol content to make sure that it will be gentle on your skin. After cleansing your face, using a gentle toner will be good to address your skin's specific needs to fight acne. Most toners make sure that your pores will be minimized. It is also the toner's job to prepare your skin for the last step of your skin care routine.
3. Use a moisturizer. The best moisturizer for your skin doesn't make your face too oily and it makes sure that your skin is evenly moisturized all over. Upon knowing your skin type, it will be easy for you to find the best moisturizer for you.
The key is to remember doing your skin care routine religiously. You also need to have enough patience in using the products to fight acne. Other skin care routines have more than 3 steps but you have to make sure that you are not putting too many of different products on your face.
