Android Tablet, networks and electronics, the shorter and slimmer something is, the better for everyone involved. And the 7 inch Netbook qualifies for this.
This Laptop is not a functional one in terms of workload. Its inbuilt hard drive is 2GB and its RAM is only 256. It does have an option to extend disk space to 8GB, but thats still on the lower side for a laptop. It doesnt even have a built-in camera. This machine is geared toward surfing, not storage.
The netbook has Wi-Fi connection at 802.1 b/g and a 7 inch LCD digital panel. Its screen resolution is 800 by 480, and it has Ethernet access at 10/100MB. It comes with a regular 80 key English keyboard, but it can support an external one if the need arises.
The three available USB ports are tailored to fit a mouse, a flash drive, and a keyboard. Sound wise, this pretty little machine possesses a sound card, a built-in Stereo speaker, and 2 jacks one for headphones and the other for a microphone.
The battery power on this baby is fairly strong. It lasts 4 hours while active and twice as long on standby. The laptop weighs 1.05kg, which is comfortable size to lug around. It comes pre-installed with Android 2.2, which means it has all the standard Android software, from Media Player to Office and Internet Explorer. It also contains a PDF reader and an image viewer, as well as various accessories and games.
One thing I like about this laptop is that the battery is built in, so theres no chance of losing it. The downside to this is that since the battery is a permanent part of the computer, I cant pull it out and replace it when it gets less effective. Plus, being inbuilt, the battery adds to the overall weight of the machine.
I would also like it if the memory and hard drive were bigger, because at this size, an
China Tablet PC would be more attractive. The screen size is quite small for a laptop, and pushes me towards purchasing a tablet instead.
