Stain can come to any carpets including to those which are made of the stain-resistant materials such as polyester. To clean the stain on it, you can use white paper towels or white absorbent dry cloth which is able to absorb the liquids. You are not recommended to scrubbing while cleaning the carpet since it can distort the carpet. On the other hand, if you clean the stain from the semi-solids, you can scrape the solid up by using the spoon. In addition, if the stain is from the real solid, you can break it up and then vacuum it. Then, you can use commercial stain remover like white vinegar in order not to affect the color of your carpet.

Regular cleaning

Regular cleaning is important to keep the carpet clean most of the time. There are some ways you can do such as vacuuming. Regular vacuuming is able to remove the debris and dirt before they embed the carpet and damage the polyester fibers. High traffic area will need frequent vacuum.

In addition, if you note any stain or spot, you have to clean it immediately to prevent the odor. With deep cleaning, you can remove the embedded soil which is able to reduce the longevity of your carpet.

Maintenance

The carpet will easily show the high traffic pattern. Therefore, you can move the furniture occasionally to neutralize that pattern. For the legs of the heavy furniture, you can use glides or cups and move them several inches into another direction. It is beneficial for preventing the indentations in the carpet. To maintain the color of your carpet from fading, you can keep it from the direct sunlight. The direct sunlight can make the color of your carpet easily fade.
