Her Role: Snoop is a senior lieutenant in Marlo Stanfield's organization and it's her in conjunction with Chris who execute the vast majority of murders that Marlo calls for. Snoop's given name, Felicia Pearson (which is actually the exact same as the actor who plays her), is seen only a few times during The Wire and it is actually never spoken out loud, rather it is only revealed on the detective's post-it notes or documents.

Snoop Pearson is a cold hearted killer carrying out dozens of murders in conjunction with Chris. She doesn't hesitate to kill anyone, including those within her own organization.

One of Snoop's most defining qualities is her language and she's likely the most difficult character to understand in the show (and that is definitely saying something as a large number of the players in The Wire talk in an incredibly convoluted slang).

Her character is also at times gender ambiguous and in early scenes with Snoop, viewers may be confused as to whether she's a male or a female.

Played By: Felicia Pearson. Felicia was actually born on Baltimore's east side to two incarcerated drug addicts and started dealing drugs at a very young age instead of attending grade school. She was convicted of 2nd degree murder at the age of 14 and served 6.5 years of 2 consecutive eight year sentences. Felicia became involved with The Wire after bumping into Michael Williams ("Omar Little") at a club and being invited to meet the directors.What Seasons: In seasons 3, 4, and 5.My Favorite Scene: Snoop's trip to a fake Home Depot is the opening scene of Season 4 and is definitely one of the most hilarious scenes in The Wire.My Favorite Quote: "You earned that buck like a motherf*er, man." Snoop says this to the imitation Home Depot store employee who she buys a nail gun from. This is just about the only scene in which Snoop is talking to someone outside of the game and the scene is totally hilarious because the Home Depot employee assumes she is just an innocent typical Baltimore resident looking to purchase a nail gun (the audience knows better) and despite the fact that Snoop practically tells him that she's using it for murders she is carrying out, it is quite clear that the nail department employee is only comprehending about 50% of what Snoop's saying (much like the audience).Foil / Rival: In contrast to many other characters in The Wire, Snoop doesn't have a true foil or rival. She has a partner in crime in Chris Partlow, but he is more compliment than foil, and Snoop's interactions with characters beyond Marlo and Chris are very limited. She may be best foiled by Michael whose need to know "why" he is doing what he is doing is criticized by Snoop and is alien to her nature.Critical Analysis: Critics have called Snoop one of the most chilling characters in The Wire as she executes dozens of murders without any hesitation. Stephen King has said that she is "perhaps the most terrifying female villain to ever appear in a television series."
