Finally, you should tag the posts with relevant keyword. You can tag your post with as many keywords as you want. The more keywords you use, the more likely your post will be found by users. However, you should not use too many keywords because it is considered spam by the search engines including Google and Yahoo. In the type field, you should select Buddy so that the bookmark will displayed across the Buddymarks site. When you are done, you can click on the Add Bookmark button. After the bookmark is added, it will be displayed under the Public Bookmarks.

You can also share a bookmark at Buddymarks.com through the add on bookmarklet. The bookmarklet is installed on your toolbar. You simply surf the site which you want to social bookmark and click on the Buddymarks bookmarklet to add it. In the default settings, Buddymarks mark the bookmarks as private. However, you can change the setting to Everybuddy so that your bookmark will be visible to other users on Buddymarks. You can create your own network of friend on Buddymarks. When you created a large network of friends, you can promote your products or services to them. It will be easier to sell the product since they already have interest in it.

Buddymarks is a great place to build backlinks to your site. If your site is new, it will need a lot of backlinks before it can rank on the search result. By using Buddymarks, you can obtain many one way link to your site for free of charge.
