Solving Your Relationship Problems -- What To Do Next

Have you recently begun to experience problems in your personal life

?

Discovering a way to resolve your relationship problems starts with these 3 simple steps that can help create a solution, even if you caused the breakup in the first place.

It's perfectly normal to picture yourself back with your ex girlfriend (boyfriend) right after a breakup. If the emotional pain is still present, you're probably confused about what the next step should be.

If your thinking about picking up the phone and begging him or her to come back, don't do it! That will simply make matters even worse than they already are. In order to resolve your relationship problems successfully, you'll need a plan that will require you to stop wearing your emotions on your sleeve, and start thinking rationally.

Here are the three steps you'll want to take, regardless of who caused the breakup.

Accept the breakup..... before you do anything, you must accept the fact that the breakup occurred. And whatever you do, act like your ok with it when you do talk to your ex boyfriend (girlfriend). This will relieve much of the tension and awkwardness between the two of you. If he (she) still truly cares for you, the relationship will be repaired.

By dialing back the pressure at this point, the two of you will be able to think things through with a clear head. You must be willing to give it time for the process of healing to begin.

Don't reach out to your ex girlfriend (boyfriend)..... resist your temptation to call, text, or email. By closing down the communication channels right now, you will allow this thinking process to begin and give the impression that you're moving on. Your ex boyfriend (girlfriend) needs time to re-evaluate the relationship, along with some solo time to start missing you.

Whether you caused the breakup or not, your ex boyfriend (girlfriend) needs some time to realize how important you still are.

Plan to meet.....now that you've shown a willingness to accept the situation, and allowed some time for the two of you to think about what's happened, you can begin to plan a get together. Like where and when this get together can take place, and whether it's dinner, a movie, or whatever. It's a good idea to plan a different activity than what the two of you routinely did together in the past.

Make it something that is new and fresh. Now when you do get together, you will be much more likely to find out how much your ex boyfriend (girlfriend) still cares about you.

By taking this simple calculated approach, you will know soon enough if it's possible to resolve your relationship problems, even if you caused the breakup.
