Jewellery is defiantly a womans best friend and no more so than today is it the most

popular fashion accessory and there are some beautiful pieces in the shops for us to choose from but we do not always get it right and I am sure that there are many of use that have pieces that we do not wear anymore because we have made the wrong choices.

I am sure that all of us would like some advice on how to get it right and accessories the right piece of jewellery with the correct outfit so here are a few handy tips that I found useful when it came to building my collection.

When you choose a piece to go with a specific outfit make the choice is it the dress or suit that you would like to show off or is it the piece of jewellery. If it is the dress then your accessories come second but if it is your accessories that you would like to display to the world then keep your outfit plain and simple and preferably all the same colour so that this will act as a frame for your unique and unusual designs. Choose low necklace lines to show off necklaces and dangling earrings and if it is a very special bracelet you want to show off then pick an outfit that has short or sleeves.

There are many different styles in the shops for you to choose from, it could be a very traditional designs that has been crafted from precious metals and precious gemstones, it could be something very modern and contemporary that you would like to wear or is vintage or retro your style. There are so many designs for you to choose from so look for one that reflects your personality and your life style.

If you like ethnic styled clothes there are many ranges of jewellery designs that will compliment this and you will find many pieces that have been handmade from a collection of colourful beads and semi-precious stones, long multi layered necklaces, bracelets worn stacked up your arm, charm bracelets, cluster necklaces and rings. If you like many of the retro and vintage styles that are available now then look around the second hand store, charity shops, and through your grandmother jewellery box (with her permission) and I am sure that you will find many pre-loved pieces at great prices that you can wear in your own unique way and it is amazing what you will be able to find when you start your search.

If you have a bubble and outgoing personality then choose designs that are full of colour and maybe chunky necklace handmade from large ceramic hand painted beads, bright and bold bracelets and long dangling earrings will work perfectly with your casual outfits.

If your style of clothes is very modern then all the large stores will have collections of jewellery in the latest fashion trends and most brands of clothes will have their own accessory collection that have been designed to compliment perfectly there line of fashion clothing and they will have designed and made pieces that will compliment the styles and colours of their latest collections.
