Many daily tasks such as watching TV and reading newspapers will lead to eye strain or stress

However, using these devices can not contribute to the relief of eye strain. Like a relaxing neck massage, it is also effective to do some eye exercise in order to ease eye stress.

One problem is that most eye exercises will be effective only if a daily of 20 to 30 minutes are spent. For many people, this is a long time. They do not have enough time to sit and carry out long periods of eye exercises. On the other hand, the importance of doing eye exercises can not be overstated. They are an excellent way to relieve the eyes from excessive strain after long term of eye usage. Fortunately, eye doctors and professional have developed some simple exercises that can be done at any time throughout the day. One or two minutes are enough for every time. But it is easy to carry out these short exercises for many times during a day.

One of the simple exercises is to hold a pen in front at arms length. Focus on the pen for approximately 3 seconds and switch the eyes to an object in the distance either in the room or outside the window. After focusing on the distant thing for 2-3 second, return to the pens for another 3 seconds. Each time, repeat these steps for 5-6 times. Another simple exercise requires the eyes to stretch as far as possible by looking up, down, left and up repeatedly. Do the same exercises in the reverse direction. After doing these easy exercises, it is ok to return to work immediately.
