Until you see your priorities written down, on paper or on your computer screen, you might not know the most important thing, meaning your top priority. Especially if you own your home with your spouse or other family members, sometimes you'll find that everybody's priorities are not the same. One person may want to hold out for the highest selling price possible, and another person may simply want to sell a house now to get rid of the responsibility.
And both of these sellers might include each other's top priority on his or her personal list, but the fact that a different item has top priority can make all the difference. And sometimes this negotiation is more difficult than dealing with the actual buyer eventually!
But everyone can agree that what really needs to happen to sell a home quickly is to locate a buyer who is qualified to close on a sale transaction immediately. It's not a complicated scenario, it's just that finding this perfect, perfectly qualified buyer can be a challenge. If your home is listed on the multiple listing service and you are waiting for your perfect buyer to show up, chances are good that you will be waiting a while. You are not likely to sell your home quickly that way. But there is another way.

You want to locate someone who will make an agreement to buy your home and take care of all the details and costs of closing, if possible. You will be able to find an investor to stop by and look at your home in order to give you an offer by checking the real estate classifieds of your local newspaper and weekly shoppers, and by checking billboards and online sites.
There's another way I often find investors who pay cash and close quickly, and that is by driving around looking at "For Rent" signs in front of homes in the neighborhood, copying down the phone numbers and giving them a call. Very often you'll find those homes are owned by investors who regularly pay cash for homes. When you want to sell a home quickly you can call some real estate inve stors and you'll find a way to accomplish your goal.
