Make a spreadsheet with some columns such as "Top Width," "Height," "Bottom Width," "How Many" and "Depth." After are ready, you can start measuring your window and fill in the column with the measurement result.

With your measurement, go back to the store and choose the blind you want. The window measurement will help you find the right measurement for the window blind. If you choose the blind which is recessed inside your window, you have to go for the blind which is less than the width measurement of your window. However, you will need the top and the bottom width. On the other hand, if you want the blind which is mounted above your window, you will need blind which has longer width measurement for your window.
