Fires Over Skettis

The Skyguard is a faction that hangs out next to the FlightMaster in Shattrah city in Terokkar Forest of the Outlands. They're an excellent way to get a quick flying mount with an odd look: a nether ray. After rolling through a few of their starter quests, this daily quest opens up. Both Horde and Alliance can take the quest.

See Sky Sergeant Doryn about some eggs that need to be poached, scrambled, and flambed. As you can't get to Skettis without a flying mount, you probably don't need to worry about that requirementand this quest takes some precision flying. Doryn will give you a satchel of blasting charges and send you into the dangerous skies of Skettis with a single mission: render some monstrouskalirieggs into omelets.

To do this, you'll need to fly into Skettis itself and watch out for the egg's mommasthe monsterous kaliri themselvesbecause getting caught by one of these birds can knock you from your mount to the water or ground below. The targets are giant, unbroken, vibrating eggs that you will find clustered around the tops of dead trees and sometimes on the awnings of arakkoa' buildings (see the quest text.)

Bombing Run, Bomb Them Again!

Way out in the Blade's Edge Mountains there's a camp of very smart ogres and they've created Orgri'la, with them sit another contingent of the Skyguard. They're having trouble with demons nearby and because you have a flying mount you're in a good position to help them out. Once again, you're saddled up with a sack full of bombs and set out to obliterate the enemy in plumes of fire and hatred.

Your target are stacks of fel cannonballs stacked up next to fel cannon, of course, that are being used to bombard Orgri'la from the north and the south at Forge Camp: Wrath and Forge Camp: Terror respectively. So, once you've got your bombs, place them in your action bar and head out.

The key to surviving this mission is zig-zag and never stop moving! Both Forge Camps are defended by heavy cannons which will launch flak at youif you get caught by one of the cannonballs it can knock you out of the sky and into the waiting armsclaws, axes, and teethof a very happy demon. So, in order to avoid getting hit, be sure to fly an erratic path across the sky, and don't stop flying. If you miss, you can always come around for another pass; if you take a hit, however, you could get grounded amid the enemy and not soon recover.

After you've blown up 15 cannonball stacks, you can fly back to the quest giver and receive your reward.
