Sony Ericsson W995 and Nokia 5800 XpressMusic both are attractive music phones imparted with various similar and dissimilar features. To announce the winner lets find out the differences between the two gadgets.

The former one is a member of the Walkman range and embeds Walkman music player supported by Album Art Display, Stereo Speaker, TrackID, PlayNow, SensMe, Shake Control, Clear Bass, Clear Stereo, Bluetooth stereo (A2DP). Sony Ericsson W995 is a slider phone and comes with 2.6 inches TFT screen with 240 x 320 Pixels resolution and 262k colours. It weighs 113 grams and measures 97 x 49 x 15 mm. But the competitor imparts 3.2 inches touchscreen capable of supporting 16 Million colours with 640 x 320 Pixels resolution. It is just of 109 grams in weight and its casing measurements are 111 x 51.7 x 15.5 mm. Accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate can be seen commonly but Nokia has given something extra like full & mini QWERTY keyboard, handwriting recognition and proximity sensor for auto turn-off.

Both gadgets are provided with 8GB memory cards with package but Sony Ericsson W995 allows up to 8GB expandable and has 118 MB internal memory while internally, the 5800 XpressMusic comprises 81 MB storage, 128 MB RAM and its expandable memory is up to 16 GB.

In terms of camera, the first one brings along 8.1 MP camera with lots of features but 3.2 megapixel camera of the second one also comes with good features but naturally cant beat its rival. Both are supported with advanced connectivity features, messaging services, strong battery backup and front facing camera. While for connecting to Web, Sony Ericsson W995 plies WAP Web Browser, Access NetFront Web Browser and Web Feeds and also it has YouTube compatibility and contrarily its challenger provides WAP 2.0/xHTML, HTML browser and RSS feeds. Assisted GPS Navigation feature is a mutual feature but Sony has given it with Wayfinder Navigator and Google Maps while Nokia has supplied it with Nokia Maps Applications.About the Author:
